Joko Arif serves as Senior Adviser for Southeast Asia to the Packard Foundation’s Climate and Land Use sub-program team. Joko has a primary focus on Indonesia and is based in Jakarta.
Joko has over 10 years’ experience working on sustainability issues related to palm oil deforestation and waste in Indonesia. Joko’s prior roles include managing director for INOBU and program manager for IDH’s Sustainable Trade Initiative. His past experience includes work as a Forest Campaigner for Greenpeace and as the Indonesia Sustainability Manager for Carrefour, during which time he was a member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Executive Board representing the Retailers Group.
